Thomas does as he's told, smiling when he finds Greta in his lap. His hands slid down along her sides, around her back to find the ties on her dress. He nearly closes his eyes when their noses touch.
He can't help the shiver that rushes down his back at her quiet promise. He looks up at her, adoring, and lets his hands drift down to hold her hips.
"I hope to make you just as happy, darling."
He's never been particularly good at husbanding, but he fully intends to change that in Darrow.
