"On a stuff," he confirms, trying not to smile too brightly. He strokes the back of his fingers over Greta's cheek and kisses her again.

"I've a little bracelet for it, something to match your ring, and I've every intention of asking her if it's alright that I officially join the family."

He wants Saoirse to be involved, to feel like she has a hand in the decisions that adults are making all around her. Greta's approval is paramount, of course, but it would be a shame to leave Saoirse out of it entirely, especially at her age. Especially when she was so keen to have him get Greta a ring in the first place.
