She keeps some distance between them, but reaches over to rest a hand on his, almost in spite of what she has to say next. "I might not have known what I was walking into, but it was what I wanted, too. And you weren't the only one who had a part in leading me there."
She can't quite bring herself to mention Lucille directly, figuring that's better left for Thomas to do. While she's hardly going to make excuses, though — the two of them did almost kill her — she doesn't want him to be too hard on himself.
