Edith wants to tell him that he doesn't need to thank her, but she has a feeling that they'll only be talking themselves in circles if she does. Instead, she nods once, expression soft, sympathetic, and with the door closed behind them, crosses towards him. "Here, give me that," she says of his coat, holding out a hand for it. "You sit. Try to relax, if you can."

It'll be easier said than done, but there's no one here but the two of them, no one to stare or cast judgment on something they don't know the whole truth of.
