Thomas follows her urging. Inside, he shrugs out of his coat. He wonders if the secret follows, no matter what he has on. He ends up fidgeting with his hands, unable to just be still.

He finally stops long enough to push his fingers through his hair, trying to regain some sense of his crumbling composure.
